In 1979, Wolfgang Boehm realized there was a market for selling Volkswagen replacement parts to repair shops in New Hampshire. With the popularity of the Volkswagen Rabbit and Volkswagen Scirocco on the rise, and a loyal following of the Volkswagen Beetle and Volkswagen van owners, he started Atlantic Imported Auto Supply. He filled his Volkswagen Type 2 with parts from such manufacturers as Boge, Sachs, Bosch, Mann, Loebro, Mahle, Febi, Varga, Kolbenschmidt, Gemo,Ansa, Kadron, Bosal, HJS, Hella, TRW, FAG, and SKF and delivered them to repair shops in need of quality Volkswagen parts. In 1984, his brother, Klaus joined him, and a store/warehouse was opened. Both Wolfgang and Klaus grew up around Volkswagens, as their father owned a repair shop fixing nothing but Volkswagens.
Now we stock clutches, shocks, struts, radiators, suspensions parts and more for Audis, Saabs, Volvos, Mercedes, and BMWs as well as Hondas, Toyotas, Nissans, Subarus, Mazdas, Mitsubishis, Isuzus and the "Domestic Imports".
